Sharryn Ward
Practice Manager
Sharryn is the practice manager here at AWAHS at has been since 2013. Sharryn has worked in health for 20 years, with experience in administration, payroll, accounts, finance and has also been a purchasing officer in private practice. She has also worked administration with RMIT University situated at Latchford Barracks. Sharryn is responsible for practice management, which includes the Administration, Dental and Transport teams, as well as all finance related issues. She loves her job because she enjoys working with the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community and also because of all the experiences she has had here. In her spare time Sharryn enjoys playing with her grandchildren, seeing her children and also going out bush with her husband in the 4WD.
Leanne Rule

Administration Supervisor
Leanne is the Administration Supervisor here at AWAHS and has been working here on and off since 2009. She is responsible for various administration tasks, as required, as well as providing administration support to the paediatric and allied health teams. Leanne loves coming to work every day because she feels like the work she does on a daily basis makes a difference in the community, also because she works with great people at an organisation with integrity. In her spare time, Leanne enjoys going shopping, socialising and spending time with her family.
Maree Chatfield
Administration Receptionist
Maree is an Administration Receptionist here at AWAHS and has been with us since 2009, having previously worked as a transport driver and the transport coordinator. She is responsible for various duties in the reception and administration areas, which includes working with Integrated Team Care to keep clients appointments up to date for the best health outcomes for families and the community. Maree loves her job here at AWAHS because she gets to work with a variety of clients and enjoys interacting with the other staff members in a great environment. In her spare time, Maree enjoys gardening, camping and reading.

Administration Receptionist
Ashleigh is one of the Administration Receptionist here at AWAHS and has been with us since 2016. She is responsible for booking appointments and transport for patients as well as communicating with other medical services and booking specialist appointments. Ashleigh loves her job here at AWAHS because the people here are great and make her feel like she’s a part of something and they appreciate what she does, she also enjoys meeting people from the community. In her spare time, Ashleigh enjoys spending time with her family and friends.
Brittany Wright

Administration Receptionist
Brittany is one of the Administration Receptionist here at AWAHS and has been with us since 2016. She is responsible for providing reception and administration support at AWAHS. Brittany loves coming to work because she gets to help and interact with the community and she feels like she’s a part of something, and the people around the workplace are a joy to work with. In her spare time, Brittany enjoys playing netball with some of the girls from work as well as catching up with friends and family, shopping and going on road trips.
Joy Kelly
Work Health & Safety representative
Joy is the Work Health & Safety Representative here at AWAHS and has been with us since 2007, working in various roles, including, transport, reception and 6 years as a local justice worker. She is responsible for the Work Health & Safety of AWAHS staff and clients, also, taking care of maintenance repairs & ongoing inspections and liaising with contractors as well as organizing staff training, such as first aid and CPR training. Joy loves her job here at AWAHS because she gets to work within her community and see the difference our organization is making to the health and wellbeing of our community, also because of the variety of her role and the other staff she has met and worked with over the years. In her spare time, joy enjoys socializing with family and friends, watching sports and travelling.
Cassie Denniss

Casual Administration / Reception
Cassie Denniss is AWAHS casual administration and receptionist. Commencing in early 2018 Cassie brings with her experience in transport services and exceptional customer service skills from previous roles in Retail. Cassie is responsible for the administration functions at AWAHS and reception. Cassie enjoys working at AWAHS as it has helped her to reconnect with the community. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her children, family and friends.
