Joy joined the AWAHS team in August 2006 making her one of the longest serving AWAHS team members and brought with her almost 15 years of experience. She worked for 10 years as the Aboriginal Liason Officer for the Community Employment Services and 4 years as a field officer for Aboriginal Education. Joy’s enthusiasm and passion for the local community means she is a valuable asset to the AWAHS team. Joy enjoys servicing the community, especially “having a yarn” with clients during trips. Joy is also affectionately known as “Girl Friday” amongst AWAHS staff.

Phill Joined the AWAHS team in September 2010 bringing with him local health service experience as well as experience from Dareton Community Health. Phill's knowledge of the area and sense of humor make clients trips to and from AWAHS and to other medical facilities an enjoyable experience. Phill is also an artifact artist and many of his works are displayed around the AWAHS building.
