Di Griffin Counsellor (Alcohol and other drugs)
Di joined the AWAHS team in early 2008 bringing with her over 20 years nursing, the last 6 working with and advocating for marginalized/disadvantaged youth and adults with issues of homelessness, substance misuse, mental health, sexual abuse, domestic violence and disabilities. Di spends one on one confidential time with her clients and their families who are seeking to address the harms associated with substance misuse and takes a collaborative approach to her work. She believes her clients are her most important teachers. Di's positive outlook on life and extensive experience make her a valuable asset to the AWAHS team. |
